With sales of 95% or more of capacity, 12 shows from this year's season at Acoustic Music Centre @ St Bride's have been given Edinburgh Festival Fringe 'official' sell-out laurels (left). This represents about 11% of all the shows which took place this year and is just about the same as AMC 2010. All the laurels went to shows given by Edinburgh-based or Scottish acts.
The shows are ...
Big Room (235 seats)
North Sea Gas (1 perf)
Benny Gallagher (1 perf)
Michael Marra (1 perf)
Back Room (50 seats)
Ragged Glory (2 perfs)
Nick Keir (1 perf)
Kirsty Law (1 perf)
Mike Whellans (1 perf)
Playing Politics (1 perf) - see http://www.fringereview.co.uk/fringeReview/4324.html
Soopna (2 perfs)
Emily Scott (1 perf).
Congratulations to all concerned!
In addition the 23 performances selling 80% or more in both spaces at AMC represented about 21% (2740 seats) of all available seats.

Again, Edinburgh-based or Scottish acts feature very strongly in this longer list with only one non-Scottish act from the total of 17 acts (the ever-popular Australian, "Spooky Men's Chorale" on their third visit to AMC @ St Bride's).
More congratulations to all concerned!
At AMC @ St Bride's in 2010, 25 performances sold 80% or more tickets with some 13 (11%) qualifying for sell-out laurels: very consistent!
Edinburgh-based (Scotland) entertainments agency (www.stoneyport.co.uk). We deal primarily with what used to be called folk-music but now goes out variously as acoustic, roots, traditional, contemporary music etc etc.. Most of our roster is Scottish-based plus some acts from around the British Isles but we also work for acts coming into the UK from abroad. There's loads of great music out there! We also have a roster of 'specials' which offers a range of after-dinner speakers amongst others.
